Since we are having Vacation Bible School this week, there will be no worship service on Wednesday 7/29/15!!
New Hope Offering Wednesday Night Worship Service!!
In hopes that we can reach out and welcome folks who might not be able to worship with us on Sunday mornings and to offer another opportunity to worship we will have a Wednesday Night Worship Service at 7:00 pm.This service will be about 45 minutes in length and will include Holy Communion. Please help us spread the word and help grow this worship service.
Vacation Bible School!
Vacation Bible School will be held THIS WEEK July 26-30th here at New Hope. Our theme this year is “Hometown Nazareth” and we will hear about Jesus’ life from his mother Mary and visit Nazareth. Registration forms are on the back table or you may register online at www.newhopefaith.org. Please be sure to invite a child you know to come and be part of this very special week. Items needed for Vacation Bible School: Baby Food Jars. Please bring your jars to church with you and help us make this event a great success!
Chicken Barbeque Fundraiser will be held on August 1st. A group of energetic and enthusiastic volunteers has come forward to put together a BBQ on Saturday August 1 to raise much needed funds for New Hope. Cost of ticket is 8.00 Your dinner includes chicken, baked potato, applesauce, rolls and butter. Dinners will be served beginning at 12 noon! Tickets are available for purchase today. We also need each of you to take a few tickets to sell to neighbors and friends. We want to make this a huge success so please pitch in and sell a few tickets!!
A Women’s Prayer Breakfast will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 8:00 a.m. at Railside. The cost of $10.00 includes breakfast and gratuity. A sign-up sheet is located on the Hospitality Table. By signing your name you are also required to purchase a ticket (see the ticket salesperson of the day). Tickets may be purchased this morning following each worship service.

SUMMER FOOD DRIVE ENDS TODAY!!
Most food pantries struggle over the summer months to keep their shelves stocked because donations tend to decline. We are going to help fight this slump. Please bring in your donations of non-perishable food items during the month of July. We will gather as much food as we can and help keep our brothers and sisters nourished and fed. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!
A devastating Earthquake has hit Nepal and thousands of lives have been lost and the destruction is enormous. If you would like to help provide aid to the people of Nepal please use the Disaster Response envelope located in the Pew Pocket in front of you. Your gifts will be shared with the Lutheran World Relief as they provide assistance to the victims of this terrible disaster.
You will notice in the chair pockets blue prayer slips. If you would like to include someone in the prayers of the community during worship this morning please place their name on the prayer slip and pass it to the center aisle. During the playing of “Come Now Is the Time to Worship” the slips will be collected by the Ushers and given to Pastor. PLEASE WRITE LEGIBLY!!
Gabriel’s Project in need of supplies. This ministry that serves families with small children and babies is in urgent need of supplies! They are currently helping 168 families and 4 new babies. They are in desperate need of diapers size 3, 4 and 5, baby bottles and stage 2 baby foods with current dates. (No Expired Items please) They are also in need of baby wash. Please help us gather these items and place them in the back of our worship center. If you have any questions please speak to Linda Stonesifer.
The Fellowship Committee is sponsoring a trip to Sight and Sound to see “Joseph” on Saturday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. There is an optional family style dinner at Hershey Farms at 4:00 p.m. Ticket pricing and signup will be available soon.

On Tuesday, July 28th we will be having our New Hope weekly golf outing. No league. Just show up and play. We will start this week at 5:00 p.m. at Range End Golf Course, in Dillsburg. Each week those playing will decide where we will be playing the following week. A different course each week. If interested in playing, please contact either Jim Bollinger or Lauren Brown, so we will know about how many tee times we will need.
Many of you have noticed that we now have a Community Aid box in our parking lot. Please put your donations in this box to be shared with Community Aid. New Hope will receive 4 cents a pound for all donations. And monies raised by Community Aid are funneled back into many of the ministries we support in our community.

New Hope to Broadcast Sunday Service! Beginning Sunday March 2 our worship service will be broadcast on WHVR 1280 AM from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. If you would like to sponsor the broadcast in memory or honor of someone you may sign up to do so. The cost is 50 dollars. There can be more than one sponsor on a given Sunday Your dedication will be broadcast as part of the radio program. If you have any question please see Pastor Tim.
On Sunday October 11th we will be hosting Pastor Paul Oman and his special ministry known as “Drawn to the Word” Pastor Oman is a biblical storyteller/artist who will be sharing the Gospel while at the same time painting a mural of the story right before our very eyes. There is a significant cost to having Pastor Oman with us and we are looking for folks who would like to help sponsor this special event. Please prayerfully consider helping make this event a possibility for our community. If you are interested please consider one of the following options:
